Mother of a 3 year oldWhen I went to Racheal’s Food Wars workshop I wasn’t sure what to expect. Dinner time had been such a struggle for me and my son and I hadn’t found anything that helped. I couldn’t get him to sit still, he’d barely eat on his own even though he was capable and we’d end up fighting over him finishing his food! After going to Racheal’s workshop, we now enjoy mealtimes as a time for connection, we cook together, set the dinner table together…it’s a work in progress but it’s calm! He also loves Racheal’s easy snack boxes that I started making!

Mother of 4Food Wars workshop by Racheal Kwacz was a workshop that I’ve been wanting to attend when I had my 3rd baby. I’ve always struggled in the mealtime department and now that my kids are 12, 9 and 2.5 years old, it’s even harder trying to “please” everyone’s tastebuds and get them to have dinner together. I see family dinner as a time of day for connection after a busy day. I highly value this and want this to be part of our family culture. Learning all the practical tools was helpful in Racheal’s workshop but what was more fulfilling for me was that I took the time and effort to focus on healthy eating for my family without it being rushed or done by just glancing through websites in Google search. This was a self-care for me and to learn and be reminded again what I’ve learned in my journey which is in line with Racheal’s parenting philosophy. If you want to overcome your stress and get a new life changing perspective around your kid’s eating habits, you wouldn’t want to miss the Food Wars workshop.

Mother of 3Racheal’s methods really helped to change the dreaded mealtime song and dance to a much more enjoyable experience. I learned a lot of insightful tips that were so simple to implement yet made a major shift in our dining experiences. I’ll admit I didn’t think some things would work, but was pleasantly surprised in the response from our child to our new found abilities to master food wars.

Father of a 2 year oldSuch an eye-opener! Racheal is great at holding space and pouring into others that all the parents have an aha moment. Today my son sat with us at the table for dinner and he actually “aaaaaaahed” for a mouthful then fed me a couple of mouthfuls with a big smile on his face!
